FAQ for Pathway Program

Students interested in having the UTLA Pathway Program as an option for UT Austin admissions should indicate on their admissions application that they would like to be considered for the UTLA Pathway Program. Students must apply to Moody College as their first choice major to be considered.

Students who indicate interest will be reviewed by the Office of Admissions.

No. Students will be responsible for finding housing. 

Students admitted into the UTLA Pathway Program will take four courses that fulfill Moody College degree requirements.

Yes. Students will attend an orientation with our Academic Advising Team to register for fall courses. During their semester in Los Angeles, students will meet with a Moody Academic Advisor to register for spring courses.

The UTLA facility is located at 100 E. Tujunga Ave. Suite 200 Burbank, CA 91502.

You may submit a housing application to be considered to live on campus in the spring semester. To learn more about housing, please visit https://housing.utexas.edu/housing. Housing is on a first come, first served basis.

No. Students admitted into the UTLA Pathway Program will only attend classes. Internships are not part of this pathway program.
